About little scouts and the end of the year

Olá a todos!

After my trip to Porto I spread the notes in Lisbon again! It was a beautiful day, freezing cold, but the sun was shining. I left them in Belém and around Baixa Chiado, where I gave them to some of the little scouts and to a man who is biking around the world.
I have been spreading notes for 11 weeks now and I think it is time to bring it to an end. So last weekend was the last time I spread them, of course I will continue wishing people a nice day until the end of my life!
I hope you enjoyed this time as much as I did, thank you again for your supporting comments!
As you might have noticed, I wrote something on the back of the papers and this is what I would like to leave you with in my last post on this blog.

About mysterious notes and new cities

Hello everybody!

Long time no see! Well, I still have been spreading my notes, but I didn´t get to write on the blog, because I have been very busy lately. Christmas is coming up and I have a lot of work to do for university. So, whats new? First of all: The meeting I tried to arrange didn´t really work out. I stuck a note on one of the orange-trees in Martim Moniz, it said where I hid the white shoebox with all the notes. I put it between some plants and sat down for a while, but it was really cold that day so I decided to walk around and stick some notes in the neighbourhood. About two hours later I returned and everything was like I left it, so I went for another walk. When I came back at half past four the box was gone! I was a little sad, because I guess that somebody cleaned it up. But maybe – and I am just gonna try to believe that – somebody came and took the box to spread the notes! I guess you have all been very busy these days and like I said, it was very cold that day, so I understand if nobody found his way to the meeting point.
Last weekend I didn´t spread them in Lisbon, because I travelled to Porto for three beautiful days! I decided that this time I was just going to spread them there, so for a change everybody who lives or visits Porto can find them in the streets. After it rained a lot on sunday, the weather was very nice on monday. For the first time since three weeks I could stick them outside again. I really like it more than just to leave them in metrostations and I also think I reach more people with it! One thing makes me curious: Def wrote a comment on the 6th of december saying, that she/he found the note the day before in baixa chiado! But since I wasn´t in Lisbon during these days, I wonder how the notes got there! What a mystery! Well, I got to go now, tomorrow I will spread notes in Lisbon again and there are a lot of papers waiting to be cut!

today I spread some notes again,

The basic idea is that I’ll try to schedule a meeting, so everybody can take some papers with him and help me spreading them.
To do so, I’ll open a meeting-page where I will let you know where and when you can find them.
I’ll also put some suggestions for what could be on the papers (whom are we going to wish a nice day) on the meeting-page, so we can decide together.

About wet notes and gray sundays

Hey everybody!

The notes I sticked on walls, trees and traffic signs last sunday were probably gone one hour later. Either they were washed away by the rain or blown away by the wind. What a gray weekend! I am glad the sun came out today…
I have to re-think my technique if it keeps on raining like this, none of us wants to spend a lot of time outside if walking around includes soaking wet clothes and probably a cold afterwards! So I might have to start to put the notes inside, even though I like it more to stick them while walking through the streets…
I left some more notes in the metro this time, in the blue and red line. Did you see them? The notes where dedicated to everybody who likes flowers and to everybody with blue eyes (since I dedicated them to everybody with brown eyes a few weeks ago I thought it is fair, even though the blue-eyed are a minority here and so I knew I wouldn´t reach a lot of people)
What did you do this weekend? Did you watch the football-match?
I just wanted to say again, that I am not spreading these notes to promote this blog. It is the other way around, the blog is supposed to be a platform, a forum so people can react on the notes, make suggestion and share their opinion. I am happy if I have many visitors on the blog, because it shows me that I reach a lot of people. I really just want to wish people a nice day! The comments have been very supportive and mainly positive and that makes me happy, it is always nice to get a feedback.

About autumn-rain and windy saturdays

Olá a todos!

Last weekend was really successful: Some friends helped me to spread the notes and because of  that you can find them in several places throughout the city!
Like every weekend I left them in the metro-station of Baixa Chiado, because that is where most of you found them until now. Since it was the fourth time that I left the staircase covered with notes I felt a little uncomfortable. I think the people who clean the metro-station might get annoyed by them one day…
What a cold day that Saturday was! I like walking through the city in autumn, I don´t mind the cold as long as there is no rain. The wind blowed away some of the papers, right after I sticked them – it´s ok, somebody in Africa will find them for sure!
Last week on Wednesday almost a hundred people visited this blog, I was very happy about that! It shows me that I reach a lot of people through these notes, considering that not everybody who finds one of the papers visits the blog. I am also very happy about all the encouraging comments and Emails I received during the last weeks! I am not done yet, there are still places in Lisbon where I haven´t been! I am grateful for suggestions concerning places, dedications and everything else you would like to tell me!
